The most common use cases for utilizing a Reference List are:
- setting up a Known Reference List for Flow questions
- Ex: You want to upload a list of your Sales team’s names allowing the lead scanner to select which Sales rep the lead should be assigned to
- setting up an Event Guest List as a Capture Method.
- Ex: You are hosting a happy hour or a dinner event with a pre-defined guest list
- Ex: You are attending a trade show and received the full list of registrants ahead of time

Using a Salesforce List in Flow Questions

- To use your reference list, navigate to Flows (1), select an existing Flow or create a new one (2) and add a Flow question (3)

- Create a New Question (4)
- Select Field to Update - choose a Salesforce lookup field that takes the ID of the records you are querying using the reference list you created before (5)
