The Romify app offers a user-friendly badge scanning feature that enhances networking opportunities at events without requiring access permissions from the event organizer. Here’s how to ensure this feature is used effectively:

• Taking the Photo: The first step involves capturing a photo of the attendee’s badge. It is crucial to ensure that the photo is clear—capture the entire badge without any glare or obstructions (like a thumb over the name, etc.) and make sure the image is sharp
• Using the Photo: After taking the photo, users should click the Use button to proceed. The “Gathering contact information” process confirms that the photo is suitable for information extraction.
• Answering Questions: While the Romify analyzer processes the badge image to gather the contact’s details, users will be prompted to answer any related flow questions
• Viewing Results: Once the data extraction is complete, a green banner will appear. Users can click on this banner to view the detailed information from the scanned badge, including contact details and any other relevant data captured from the badge.
