Magic words are placeholders that resolve to a real value the moment a lead is captured, such as the lead’s name, the event, or the answer to a qualifying question.

Their primary purpose is filling CRM fields. Enter a magic word as the Value For Update on a General Default Values mapping in your CRM integration, and every scan will write that live value to the field without requiring any additional work from the person at the booth.

Magic words can also be used in follow-up email templates.
