Before integrating Romify with Salesforce, it is important to consider several factors.

Integration User

To begin, select the Salesforce credentials for the user who will be doing the integration with Salesforce. These credentials will be needed to login to Salesforce when creating the integration.

Required User Permissions For the Integration User

• Create/Read/Edit Leads, Campaign Members, Tasks
• Read/Edit Contacts
• Read Account
• Write for each field your team wants to update in: Leads, Campaign Members, Contacts, Tasks
• Marketing User checkbox is checked on this User Profile
• Integration users need to have access to Record Types if they are in use for: Create/Update Leads, Campaign Members, Contacts, Tasks

Duplicate Checks for Salesforce

There are multiple options for checking duplicates. This can be done on:

• Contacts and Leads
• Leads only
• Not at all, which results in a lead always being created

Record Types

When creating a Lead or Task you need to choose which Record Type to use.
