Romify is designed to keep your team scanning, even when the event venue's network connection is slow or temporarily unavailable.

You do not need to wait for one lead to finish processing before scanning the next. After you select Complete, you can immediately begin scanning another lead.

What happens when the connection is slow?

1. Scan the attendee's badge, business card, or other available capture method.

   Tip: Scan the contact as soon as they approach to give the AI as much “thinking” time as possible

2. Answer the applicable Flow questions.

3. Select Complete.

4. Begin scanning your next lead right away.

Completed leads will continue processing in the background. If the connection is too slow to send them immediately, they will queue in the mobile app. A gray banner at the top of the screen will show that leads are waiting to process with a total count in the backlog.

You can repeat the scanning process as many times as needed. Once the connection improves or is restored, the queued leads will automatically continue processing and push through to the Romify Hub and your connected CRM.

Keep the Romify app open and connected to a stable network when possible so queued leads have an opportunity to finish processing. Do NOT delete and reinstall the app with queued leads in an attempt to push the leads through faster as this will erase the data in the backlog.

What if I save a lead as a Draft?

Drafts are helpful when you have captured a lead but do not have time to swipe through the remaining Flow questions and select Complete. This can be particularly useful when you are trying to scan multiple people very quickly.

Instead, you can save the lead as a Draft, continue scanning, and return to complete it later:

1. Open the Drafts widget in the mobile app.
2. Select the drafted lead.
3. Complete any remaining Flow questions.
4. Select Complete.
